
Business leader Harry Smith most recently served as CEO of Flanders Corporation, a prominent air filtration company based in Washington, North Carolina. Prior to his role as CEO of Flanders, Harry Smith earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the East Carolina University (ECU) College of Business.
Undergraduate students at the ECU College of Business enjoy access to a wide variety of academic and career advisory services during their time on campus. The Academic Advising Center helps students explore various majors within the college, understand academic rules and regulations, and learn about degree requirements. Students can also use the Academic Advising Center to connect with campus resources and pursue leadership opportunities both on campus and in the community.
In terms of career development, the Career Center at the College of Business helps students identify the career opportunities that most closely match their strengths and interests. In addition to matching students with full-time positions after graduation, the Career Center has developed a successful internship program with local companies. The Career Center also helps students draft resumes and cover letters, prepare for job interviews, and calculate cost of living expenses.
